About the Organisation
We are a research organisation conducting an extensive study on human livelihoods across Ghana, funded by the China-Africa Development Fund. Our goal is to collect, analyze, and generate insights from field data to understand social and economic factors affecting various communities.
To support this research, we are seeking 73 skilled Data Collectors & Analysts who will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, collecting data, and producing insightful reports.
Position Overview
The selected candidates will work in three regions:
Greater Accra Region
26 positions
Ashanti Region
28 positions
Northern Region
19 positions
Successful candidates will undergo a three-month probationary period before fully committing to the two-year contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct field research and collect accurate and reliable data from assigned locations.
- Conduct interviews and administer surveys using structured data collection methods.
- Analyze collected data using Microsoft Excel and provide actionable insights.
- Prepare detailed reports on findings and trends based on field data.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure data quality and consistency.
- Travel to various communities within assigned regions to gather data.
- Maintain ethical research practices and ensure confidentiality of respondents.
- Present findings in meetings and discussions as required.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement) in any of the following fields:
- Social Sciences
- Public Health
- Mathematics
- Statistics
- Economics
- Any other related field
- Master's degree will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (applicants must provide proof of Excel skills).
- Ability to conduct structured interviews and engage with diverse communities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer literacy, including the use of data entry and report-writing tools.
- Fluency in English and at least one local language of the assigned region.
- Availability for full-time work for the entire contract duration (June 2025 - May 2027).

Training Schedule: All successful candidates will be required to participate in an online training program, which will take place on weekdays from May 16 to May 31, 2025. This training will cover research methods, data collection techniques, ethical considerations, and data analysis using Microsoft Excel.
Remuneration & Benefits
- Monthly salary: GHS 6,700
- Additional travel and accomodation allowance when necessary
